"They were bitten, not dead and buried." Wesker corrected. "I'm sorry Alex, we are not having this discussion."

Steve was sat with Sherry's slender legs stretched out over his lap, his fingers idly arcing up and down their smooth length as he watched the screen. "Oh. This is totally the best part!" He declared with a grin, obviously a big fan of the movie they were watching. four moths had been nothing short of bliss for Steve. He had stopped trying to remember, and no longer even thought about the red haired woman who had been creeping into his dreams. The only redhead he ever thought about, was the one this town they called home thought was his young wife.

Sherry shook her head. "No way. The whole Robot kills an entire police force is a bit...you know...fantasized for me. You can't tell me that some horny teenager didn't think up that whole scene."

"Nah, if it was a horny teenager, it would be an army of sex bots seducing the entire police force." Steve laughed. Though his gaze was still on the screen, his fingers were slowly sliding up the inside of his lover's smooth thigh.

"What? No army of sex bots completely devoted to a single nerd named Steve?" Sherry teased, leaning closer to pop a piece of chicken in his mouth.

Steve's lips closed around the tips of Sherry's fingers, grinning a moment later. "You think I'm a nerd?" He asked, then pretending to be horrified.

"Who else would watch robot apocalypse movies?" Sherry snorted, though she was purring like a well fed kitten.

"The sexbot the nerd programmed into thinking she was a real person?" Steve grinned, leaning closer to Sherry, his fingers lightly dancing just beneath her shirt now.

Sherry threw back her head and giggled helplessly, fighting to push his hands away. "Steve, you are a nerd! There's nothing you can do to change it! Nerd, nerd!"

"Oh yeah? What does it say for the gorgeous redhead who moans the nerd's name, huh?" Steve replied with a grin as he tickled Sherry harder.

"I'm not really red!" Sherry cried, trying and failing to wiggle out of his hands. "I'm a blonde, okay?!"

"Ahh, that explains it!" Steve declared. "You just don't know any better!" He added with a smirk as they tumbled off the couch, Steve's natural blonde lover landing on top of him.

"I don't know any better?" Sherry purred, her hair changing color as she held Steve's arms above his head with her hands. "Then I suppose you won't mind if I take advantage of you."

"Oh I mind..." Steve replied with a rumbling purr, his green eyes making it quite obvious how much he enjoyed being with Sherry. Every day was like the first with her, and he loved it.

Wesker was nothing but a passing phase to Sherry. She'd found true love in the last place she'd been looking for it.
But now, Steve was her entire world. Nothing else mattered but him.
The next morning she moaned loudly when his alarm went off and she was quick to yank the covers around them. "Call in sick today!" She breathed, sliding a long leg over his. "We don't need money."

Steve chuckled quietly, his fingers dancing along the slender leg that was quick to drap over him. "Then why do we both go to work at all?" He asked, turning his head slightly to kiss the tip of Sherry's pert nose.

"Society says we should." Sherry shrugged, offering him an impish smile. "It would look weird if we didn't I guess." Sighing deeply she rolled away, taking the covers with her. "Fine! Go to work! I'll stay here and sleep until I have to. See if I care!"
This was like wedded bliss to her. Steve treated her like a queen and what was more, he never truly left her alone. Not like everyone else at least.

Steve whined slightly when Sherry pulled the covers with her, however it didn't last long. He was soon grinning, jerking the covers away to pin his lover beneath him, though he wasn't being rough with her. "How about I make it up to you?" He breathed, though was trailing kisses along her collarbone. "Go buy something fancy to wear while I'm gone... I'll take you out to dinner tonight."

"Really?" Sherry waved away the kisses, unable to hide her excitement. "Tell me you mean it!"

Steve was laughing gently, his breath playing against Sherry's creamy breasts as he simply laid his head against the generous mounds. "Why wouldn't I mean it?" He asked, though the thought of actually going to work was seeming less and less desirable the longer he lingered close to the woman he loved.

"it's just that we've never planned anything before." Sherry breathed, her fingers sliding through his hair. "I'm afraid something will happen to ruin it."

"You shouldn't always prepare for the worst." Steve replied gently. "Try hoping for the best, you'll be pleasantly surprised." He added, still not getting up.

"It's a nice thought." Sherry whispered, closing her eyes for a long moment. "Can you imagine never having to worry about things like that?" She asked him, her legs sliding around his waist. "Are we done talking now? We don't have much time before you have to leave, you know."

Steve lifted his head slightly to kiss the smooth mounds he had been resting his upon. "Trust me, if I could stop time for babe, I would." He breathed, her long legs around his waist a beautiful torture as he resisted the animal urge to simply mate like a horny dog, no matter how easily she arroused him.

"I love you, Steve." Sherry whispered, her eyes locking with his own. She meant it. She'd never said the words to anyone before but she truly meant it. Everything and everyone else was a flight of fancy. She had her Steve and nothing else mattered anymore.

Those words filled Steve with the kind of warmth he had always thought stupid when other people tried to describe it. "I love you more." He breathed in reply, kissing the tip of Sherry's button nose lightly.

The day would go well until late that afternoon. Steve would have all the time in between to think about the dinner had had planned for Sherry.
But when a group of men pointed guns at his back and ordered him to the ground, he would realize it was never going to happen.

"Come on... You've got the wrong guy!" Steve protested, slow to get to the ground. Slow enough he was forced to his knees by one of the men. "What the hell do you want?!"

"Steve Burnside, you're under arrest by order of the US government." The tallest of the men barked. "Hands behind your head and don't make this ugly."

"Under arrest for what?!" Steve demanded, also refusing to p,ace his hands behind his head. "And what the fuck does the government have to do with this?!" He added, though knew exactly what this was about.

"I think you know, Burnside." A dark voice hissed, shoving him face first into the dirt. In a moment he was handcuffed and dragged to his feet. The strangers were taking him toward a large black van. "Say goodbye to freedom, asshole."
