"I wanted you when you were still finding your feet in the world, is that not in itself enough?" Wesker replied, surprised to find he was gently stroking his fingers through Rebecca's hair.

Rebecca couldn't help but roll her eyes. She had one thing that Rachel never had. Bravery. "And let me guess...that night she fell into your bed and the rest was history? At least until she fell down the stairs? Or did you really push her?"

"Actually, we never made it to a bed." Wesker teased. "Surely, when you were with that marine, you felt that thrill someone feels thinking the person they are with is the last face they will ever look into?" He added. "That was how it was with Rachel. She gave up the notion that a persons class defines them, and needless to say... I was not the only one she 'sampled'."

"I did not sleep with Billy!" Rebecca shouted suddenly, shoving away from the table. "For godsake, Wesker! Just because your true love was a whore doesn't mean everyone else is! Give me a little credit!" That said she marched into the bathroom, the door slamming closed behind her.
Twenty minutes later, Albert Wesker would discover that his lover was simply gone.

When he realised Rebecca was gone, Wesker sighed heavily. Sometimes it was hard for him to make Rebecca understand that he was considerably older than she was; of course he was going to have a past. He paid for their order and calmly left the restaurant. Of course, he also didn't hold it against her if she had of slept with Billy Coen, after all... He would later shoot her anyway.

When Wesker returned to the lab he would find a mess waiting for him. Jackie seemed to be the only employee on the laboratory floor and he was running around like a headless chicken. "Mr. Wesker!" He finally managed to shout. "It's bad...we tried to get you but you didn't answer...Ms. Chambers either...it's bad, sir!"

"Dave?" Wesker asked, once again remaining calm. "Ms. Chambers will most likely be occupied elsewhere right now." He added, not going into further detail.

"That's the problem..." Jackie was already cringing, clearly believing that Wesker was going to strike him. "Dave got out...he managed to lock the rest of the staff in the cage he was put in..."

Wesker couldn't help but smile at this new development. "Then perhaps the boy isn't a total loss after all." He mused. "Where is he now? At least tell me you are tracing him on the monitors?"

Jackie was quick to head toward the monitors, nodding all the while. "He's down in the machine garage now, sir." He said timidly, still shaking. "He's...I think he's trying to hot wire a car..."

"He's being sloppy... Like he wants to be followed." Wesker snorted. Suddenly he scowled and leaned closer to the monitor. "Like hell I'll let him take the Audi!" He roared, already stomping to the door.

Dsve was smiling as the Audi purred to life beneath his fingers. A spark was all it had taken and the car roared like a well fed lion. This was going to be easier than he thought.

"Trapping my staff like rats in a cage, I can forgive, he'll, you could have killed them all... But no one takes my baby!" Wesker bellowed, even before he burst into the garage.

"Wonder if he'd say the same thing about the chick." Dave snorted under his breath, stepping on the gas. Since the car was in park, it let out a high pitched squeal and filled the garage with white smoke. "Nice." He chuckled.

"You fool! Stop that!" Wesker roared, little more than a blur as he burst into the garage and placed himself in front of his favourite car.

"Think I'm really gonna stop for you, old man?" Dave hissed under his breath. Like a petulant child he was still squealing the tires, knowing full well he was wearing down the rubber.

Reluctant to hurt his most prized vehicle, wesker moved around the car and grimaced as he smashed his hand through the drivers side window and wrapped his fingers around Dave's throat. "If you had wanted to leave, you would be gone already!"

"Not gonna take...a stupid..vehicle..." Dave argued, his fingers tightening around Wesker's wrist. He let his foot off the gas and the Audi began to idle.

Wesker seemed to sigh with relief, but didn't let go of Dave. "All the cars... And you chose this one!" He continued, now dragging the other man from the car.

"Fuck yeah I chose that one!" Dave shot back, doing his best to gain footing. Unwisely he used the side of the car, leaving it with a visible dent.

Wesker backhanded Dave when he saw the dent, and was quick to try and bang it out with his bare hand. "You should have taken the Mercedes, I wouldn't have cared!"

"Because you gave it to your new bitch?" Dave snarled, spitting blood onto the floor. "Perfect clown car. I like the Audi better."

"You would be the authority on clowns, hanging on Chris Redfield's every word and all." Wesker sneered. "You hero types repulse me. You're no different than any run of the mill dictator. It's always you people running in to save the world. Even when they don't want your help! You then lump them in with your supposed evil doers, always your way or the highway!"

"And your way is so much better?" Dave snorted, wiping another stream of blood off his nose. "Oh yeah. I can see that. I saw the shit you helped create. I wouldn't exactly call that a good deed either."

"I was creating a better world, your people were helping to maintain an already overpopulated, dying planet." Wesker corrected.

"Everybody says it's dying." Dave muttered, rolling his eyes. "That's a politician thing if I ever heard it. The old man at least wanted to have a world to be able to set himself above. What's the use of being a god if there's no one to witness your power?" He asked, proving he too had seen more than his fair share.

"Why be god to the dregs of humanity, when you can rule only the best and brightest?" Wesker countered. "Nothing will change if we are constantly propping up those that nature would have killed off with her 'survival of the fittest' at birth."

"That's shit." Dave snorted, wondering why he was simply standing here having this arguement. "Why haven't you killed me yet, speaking of all that?"

"I'm debating whether or not you should be infected with Uroboros, just to see how strong your DNA truly is." Wesker replied honestly.

"Something you were obviously too chicken to do to yourself." Dave snorted, brushing himself off. "Listen, this has been fun and all that shit but I have to go now. I mean...with someone else nabbing your woman I think you'll be too busy to worry about genetics. Right?"

"Rebecca is just fine." Wesker replied confidently. "And you seem to be under the delusion... That you have a choice." he added, jabbing Dave with an Uroboros sample before the other man could stop him.
