"I knew she would...one way or another... which is why I told you to wait at the hotel. I planned to handle things differently." Talon told her. 

Molly heard the voice and her stomach twisted. A part of her blamed the other woman for what happened to her baby. How could she not? She kept walking. Pretending not to hear Ivy.

"Did Jason tell you about our father?" Reggie asked though she couldn't meet the gentle gaze that was locked on her. 

"I can't remember saying that," Kandomere breathed, his lips again touching hers. "Promise yourself to me. I can never hear it enough."

Darbok almost seemed like he wasn’t going to answer as he watched Regina. “Tell me what?” He finally asked, trying not to smile.

“There is nothing left to promise.” Celia breathed as he gaze held Kandomere’s. “You’ve always had me.” She added, seeming, just for a moment, like the wide eyed young girl she had been when she first fell into his flock.

"He was supposed talk about a possible alliance between the Fogteeth and the his own crew. Im guessing he never said anything?" Regina asked.

Kandomere didn't know what to make of this. He stepped away from her, his chest on fire. "I need to go to work today. Go and find something to amuse yourself with...what's the word? Buy yourself something pretty?" He added with a chuckle that seemed out of place for him.

“That’s what he wanted to ask me?” Darbok asked, wondering if Regina was even aware that her brother and father wanted protection for her.

Celia was certainly shocked by the words, and admittedly a little wounded that he had seemingly decided she was indeed not what he wanted. “I can amuse myself with your precious Viola.” She replied rather coolly.

Regina nodded, truly thinking this was the case. "I can give you his number so that when your friend is better you can call my dad." She held out a business card, still smiling. 

"What if I were to ask you to dinner?" Kandomere asked Celia almost too quietly. "Would you turn me down?"

Darbok accepted the buns Ines card and pushed it into his back pocket. “Have you eaten today? We should give your brother a little room to work.”

Celia’s bright eyes grew a little wider as she scanned Kandomere’s face, worried it was a cruel joke. “Never.” She breathed, taking a chance.

Regina nodded, "There's a mexican food joint down the street from here that makes nachos to die for." She grinned, taking his arm and linking it with hers before he could protest. "Plus you add these super hot peppers and eat them in twenty minutes and the whole thing is free." 

"Why don't we pretend we are normal people for one night." Kandomere suggested, wondering briefly what was coming over him. "We can see how the other people live and...stuff ourselves full of nachos and...catch a movie...does that sound too...silly?" He asked, sounding almost vulnerable in that moment.

“That’s it? You eat the food quickly, and get it for free?” Darbok asked as they walked. “That doesn’t seem like good business sense...” he added, thinking the peppers to be nothing.

Celia was clearly trying to contain the excitement that was threatening to burst out of her at any given moment. “I get you... for the whole night?” She finally asked with a huge grin, something rare for a women who’s only task was usually to do Kandomere’s dirty work.

Regina patted his arm, relieved to see more of the mischievous orc leader coming out. She'd been more than a little worried about him. Her father would be none too pleased if she confessed her feelings for this man. Or so she believed.

Kandomere nodded, offering her his akward smile. "If you can handle it. The moment I start to bore you, all you have to do is say so." He told her, sliding his fingers into hers and leading her out the door.

At the restaurant, they had had to argue for a table, but finally were given one in the darkest area. Like Darbok was going to put other patrons off. The orc leader didn’t cause a fuss however, sadly used to this kind of treatment. He thought it safer for Regina to simply go along with everything amicably.

Even sat in the car Celia was all but vibrating with excitement. She had changed her clothes into something she thought Kandokere would like, seeming very much like a young girl on her first date.

Reggie didn't notice the waiters giving them trouble. All she noticed was the enormous plate of nachos and the little orange peppers that we're all but hidden in the cheeze.

Kandomere met Celia in the garage, looking out of place with himself. He wore a well fitting t-shirt and and even better fitting pair of jeans. 
"Are you ready?" He asked her, sounding almost nervous. "I'll go change if you wish..."

Darbok wasn’t exactly paying attention to what was in the cheese. The orc was just watching the whole plate with confusion. “Should... should food be that orange?”

Celia bit on her ruby lower lip as she looked Kandomere over, seeming very much like she would eat him alive right there. “Don’t you dare...” she breathed, actually pinching herself to make sure this was real.

"Not a bit." Reggie said taking a chip from the plate and popping it into her mouth. Instantly, her ears end nose became red but she still ate more. Soon she was sweating.

Kandomere gave her a timid smile. "All right. If you insist." He purred. ''about you even pick the restaurant we go to."

Darbok was watching the woman across fro I’m with a bemused expression, his own chips halted halfway to his mouth. “Are you okay?” He asked with a smirk, pushing her glass of water across the table to her.

“I heard there is a human restaurant that has food so spicy, they will give it you for free if you finish it quickly.” Celia confessed with a grin. “Care to see who is tougher?” She added with a devious smirk.

"can't drink water." Reggie wheezed. "Don't want to lose...it's not that hot..." Like a true orc she wouldn't admit defeat to anything. She'd die first.

Kandomere laughed in challenge to this. "I don't think there's any question to that one my dear." He purred.

Darbok watched her a omen that longer, then pushed the water again. “How is the food enjoyable of it makes you make that face?” He teased.

“You’re right, I don’t want to embarrass you.” Celia replied with a grin.

"im going to win." Reggie insisted. She was beginning to cough. Her nose was red and her freckles we're once again lost by the crimson color.

"Oh hardly. You could never defeat me." Kandomere said firmly, though he was wearing a grin.

Darbok somply smiled and continued to eat his own half of the nachos. “Is that what a winning face looks like?” He teased.

When they arrived at the restaurant, Kandomere and Celia where treated like pretty much royalty in comparison to how Darbok had been. It seemed that it was a big deal that two elves had deemed a human establishment worthy of their time.
