Precious memories

Wesker had gotten Rebecca back to the safety of the tiny facility where he had taken Claire and Leon's newborn children, it was also the place that Chris and Jill's dark haired daughter currently called home. However, for now wesker had left all three children in the care of someone else, his attention solely on easing Rebecca's pain and meding the wound he himself had given her.

"So that's the kinda guy you like, huh? Ones into freaky weird stuff in the bedroom?" A second man teased before biting into a rather greasy looking burger.

Rebecca's stomach growled loudly and she started to reach out for her own plate when something all but forced her to stop. No matter how hard she tried her fingers would not touch the food.
She lifted her eyes to the men at the table and she was suddenly glad for whatever force had a hold of her. The entire table was suddenly choking, clawing at their throats, and then tumbling backwards out of their chairs. She leaped to her feet and moved to the one nearest to her. He was dead. As were those all around the dinning room. All at once she was alone. At least...for the moment.

The sudden stench of death in the room was almost tangible. It was like a heavy fog, falling down over everything. Everything, of course, except Rebecca and her unborn child. Anyone would have been able to smell the almost instant decay that told hold of the men.

Rebecca's stomach churned and she fought the rising nausea that nearly had her on her knees. Quickly she tried to step over the nearest man and make a mad dash for the door. Unfortunately, icy fingers slid around her ankle and she was jerked to the floor. She landed hard on her mid-section and screamed in pain. This was enough noise to rouse another of the men that was now no longer quite so dead.

Wesker had finished stowing Ruby away and was on his way out of the lab when he heard Rebecca's scream. It was all it took to send him sprinting at his superhuman speed to her rescue. Of course, he hadn't really expected to find the current situation in the mess hall.

Rebecca found herself hanging on for dear life to a pipe that ran along the ceiling. She'd gotten onto a table and hoisted herself up there but was now unable to let go. The entire mess hall was a teeming mess of undead soldiers and all of them were crowding beneath her, clawing at her slender ankles.

"What the..." As he arrived at the mess hall, wesker understood what it must have been like for the STARS members all those years ago. That thought quickly passed as he began shoving the undead aside. "Rebecca! How did this happen?" He called as he moved closer.

Rebecca grunted something that sounded like shut up as she did her best to try and lift herself up onto the pipe. Though she was providing it with very little weight, it was an old pipe that had begun to rust. It was groaning loudly, already protesting her attempts.

Wesker twisted the head of one of his former employees until the neck snapped, then looked up at Rebecca. "Well it didn't just happen!" He exclaimed, now in the middle of the undead.

"Can we talk about this later?" Rebecca grunted as she tried to reach for another pipe. The one she held suddenly broke and she went crashing into the midst of the moaning undead, cursing all the way.

Undead bodies were flying everywhere as wesker tossed them aside to reach Rebecca before one of them took a chunk out of her. He reached her as one was about the clamp down on her leg, thrusting his own arm in the way and letting the teeth sink in deep.

"Albert!" Rebecca protested. She shoved to her feet and grabbed for gun, shooting the monster in the head and doing the same to those nearest them. "That was dumb." She added, making it clear he would hear more soon enough.

"No, dining wi the undead was 'dumb'!" Eesker shot back, not caring that his arm was all but gushing blood as he pushed back to his feet.

"They weren't dead when the food was served!" Rebecca protested, kicking a crawling zombie in the head as it reached for. "You always blame me for everything!"

"Just get out of here and let me handle this!" Wesker barked, trying not to let his mind wander to who exactly served the food.

"I'm doing just fine on my own, thank you!" Rebecca snapped, clearly having no intention of obeying him. "I'm a big girl, damn it!"

"You may be a big girl. But you are supposed to be keeping our child safe!" Wesker growled.

"And leave you here alone?" Rebecca snorted. "You're not your all powerful self again yet, Albert." She reminded him, a bullet whizzing past his ear as she shot a particularly tall zombie as it made an open mouthed attempt at Wesker's shoulder.

"Yes leave me here alone!" Wesker snapped, his fist punching through the chest of one zombie. "However, one begs the question, why were you dining alone wi so many of my men?"

"You're doing it again!" Rebecca growled, frowning as they fought past the uneaten burger she'd left on her plate. "You're accusing me. You lied. You don't trust me."

"And you lied about letting me protect you!" Wesker hissed. "So far it seems like you have gone out of your way to put my child in danger!"

"Your still holding to that..." Rebecca paused again, pausing to push herself away from the man she'd watched eat a greasy burger. The black grease that slid down his chin now was something else entirely. "Albert...I was lonely! I just wanted someone to talk to! You can't fault me for that."

"I won't have to if you listen to me for once and just get out of here!" Wesker roared, mistakenly turning his back on one of the undead to glare at his lover.

"Captain!" Great fear had her shouting a name she hadn't used in quite a long time. She made a reach for him but she was too late. This one tore a hunk out of Wesker's shoulder, doing something even Chris Redfield couldn't accomplish.

Wesker attempted to swing for the undead, but found himself unable to do anything further beyond then dropping to his knees. "Get out..." He wheezed. "Get out... And release the anti BOW gas..." He knew it the gas could affect him too, but it was the only option now.

"But..." Rebecca was hesitant about this. She too knew what it would do to her lover. When another of the undead took a swipe at her she realized that they had no other choice. She would have to clean this up later...

Wesker was bitten against Rebecca left, though he valiantly pushed himself on, on his feet again even as his blood ran free. If only Chris had been able to see his former captain, damn near taken down by a simple zombie.

Rebecca returned to the mess hall once the BOW gas had filled the entire floor. She could barely see through her gas mask, but she knew Wesker would have a fit if she wasn't wearing it.
Not that she'd have to worry about that. She saw Dave standing over him and she knew that the gas was yet again the least of their problems.

The gas had first weakened wesker, his wounds not helping any. Mere moments later, as he physically could no longer fight, he had simply slumped to the ground. Nothing could stop Dave now...

Wesker would find himself in a containment tank of the anti-BOW serum. "I'm not as stupid as I look. You're not getting out of it this time."
Rebecca was strapped to a chair on the far side of the room, she looked no better.
