Wesker had gotten Rebecca back to the safety of the tiny facility where he had taken Claire and Leon's newborn children, it was also the place that Chris and Jill's dark haired daughter currently called home. However, for now wesker had left all three children in the care of someone else, his attention solely on easing Rebecca's pain and meding the wound he himself had given her.

Wesker nodded his head ever so slightly, knowing he couldn't tell Rebecca what he was about to do. He didn't even know how long she would be in there, or how he would care for their son without her.

The young woman was on her feet, seeming rather excited about the idea. In fact, it didn't take her long at all to have everything ready.

Wesker was too worried about Rebecca to noticed just how eager the young woman was to help put his lover into stasis. He was letting her handle it all, opting to sit next to Rebecca's bedside, their son in his arms.

Rebecca slept peacefully once she was given sedation. She had no idea about what was to become of her, or that it might be quite a while before she saw the man she loved, or her son, again.

With Rebecca in stasis now, Wesker wasn't sure what to do. He knew he needed to get out there and find Ruby, he needed her blood. But all that aside... He really didn't wish to leave his son with strangers.

"Is everything all right, Mr. Wesker?" The tiny woman asked in a gentle purr. She was watching him as he paced outside the room where his infant son lay sleeping, a predatory smile on her full lips.

"Does everything look alright?" Wesker snapped. "There is no one i can trust in this place to either take care of my son and my wife, or to track down the retched girl responsible for all of this!"

The young woman, Wesker would soon come to know was called Annabelle, pursued him in a way that Rebecca never had. Her lack of innocence was rewarded but not in the way she wanted. Even though she had Albert Wesker in her bed more often than not, he still called out Rebecca's name.

Just because she wasn't right there with him, didn't mean Wesker ever stopped thinking about Rebecca. She was always on his mind, as everything revolved around her. The only merit to taking Annabelle to his bed, was that he could do the kid of depraved, and sometimes violent, things to her he would never dream of doing to Rebecca. Each lead to Ruby's location that ended in a dead end, meant that he needed some way to vent his increasingly violent temper.

Annabelle suddenly wasn't so thrilled with getting what she wanted at someone else's expense. Albert Wesker had gone from being simply scary to absolutely terrifying. Even she had taken to hiding from him.
She sat on the floor of Rebecca's old room, going through her things, hoping that this was the one place he wouldn't find her.

Albert Wesker was becoming a desperate man. Rebecca had been such an integral part of his life these past years, that being without her, well it was getting hard to bear. Even caring for their son was becoming difficult, as the boy was proving to look very much like his mother. He cared little of what Annabelle thought of him, as she had only one real use in his mind.

Albie grew like Ruby had and in a few months he was already rolling over and attempting to sit up. He spent much of his time crying, not even the best of the nurse maids could quiet him down. Even Albert Wesker couldn't win his silence that often.

"For the love of... Albie, please..." Wesker has resorted to begging with his son the crying had gone on that long. "I know you miss her, I do too. But soon we will make her healthy and strong again." He had the boy balanced in his lap, bobbing him gently up and down. He had seen his clone do this with Ruby quite often.

Albie threw his head back and wailed louder. He couldn't hear the word 'her' without a new wave of tears.
The doctor across from Wesker sighed loudly, trying to express just how tired he was of hearing the child.

Wesker heard the sigh and glared at the doctor. "Do you have something to say?" He snarled.

"Are you ever going to read the diary that your wife left for you?" The doctor muttered, rubbing at his temples. "She had a bit of insight that might help you get back to...your old self."

"I have no need to read her diary, as she is not gone." Wesker replied curtly. "Rebecca will be back, despite your reservations.

"I didn't say that." The doctor snapped, cringing when Albie began to wail all over again at the mention of his mother's name. "I said you should read her diary and help yourself!"

Wesker was still glowering at the doctor. "And Rebecca would never forgive me if I took it upon myself to rape her private thoughts!"

"And she left it on your desk because she didn't want you to?" The doctor shouted in frustration. Albie was howling now, his face turning red.

Wesker slowly rose to his feet, not taking kindly to this man raising his voice to him. "I see. And from your insistence i read it, and your knowledge of where it was, I gather you have already made yourself privy to its contents?"

The doctor suddenly had a greater interest in his own desk. He didn't answer. The silence that rose from Albie was all but deafening. The infant was holding tight to his father as the man stood, just as surprised as the doctor.

"Let me guess, you read it hoping to find the beautiful Rebecca had secretly confessed her love for you? For a nobody?" Wesker sneered, unintentionally giving his son a lesson in cruelty towards others.

The doctor still didn't look at Wesker as he spoke. "She deserved better than you. You're nothing but a monster. She has always been a good, kind hearted woman. You are...were...sucking the life out of her."

"You should be thankful I am holding my son." Wesker warned. "For the next time he is out of my arms... I think I shall rip yours from your body." He warned, his tone eerily calm.

"I'm not sure I'm worried." The other man whispered. "After all, you're nothing more than a weak old man who's done nothing but betray and murder his wife."

Still holding his son in one arm, Wesker reached out with the other to squeeze the other man's throat tightly. "I am not weak." He warned, though squeezed only hard enough to scare the doctor. "And I know Rebecca would not want me killing one of her colleagues, no matter how pathetic he may be."

"Weak." The doctor wheezed. "That makes you weak."
Albie's tiny fingers clung to his father's shirt, not sure how to process the anger he felt from the other man. All he could do with it is return to tears.

"Not if you consider exactly what the human body can live through." Wesker warned darkly.

"I'm not afraid of you!" The doctor wheezed, obviously trying to be brave. "Rebecca loved me! That's all that matters!"
