Precious memories

Wesker had gotten Rebecca back to the safety of the tiny facility where he had taken Claire and Leon's newborn children, it was also the place that Chris and Jill's dark haired daughter currently called home. However, for now wesker had left all three children in the care of someone else, his attention solely on easing Rebecca's pain and meding the wound he himself had given her.

Wesker burst into riotous laughter upon hearing this. "Loved you? I'll bet she didn't even remember your name!" He declared.

"Is that why she kissed me? Because she forgot me?" The doctor snarled, more than a little angry at Wesker's laughter.

This managed to instantly silence Wesker, which did not bode well for the other man. "She kissed you on the cheek, and you merely read too much into it." He replied confidently.

"If her tongue in my mouth is what you call the cheek." The other man gulped out.
Albie could feel his father's rage building and this only made him cry that much louder.

With one hand suddenly slammed against he other man's breastbone, Wesker had shoved him to the other side of the room. He said nothing further, sweeping away with his wailing son in his arms. This wasn't over. Not by a long way.

The doctor fell to his knees, trying to continue to breathe. He was all but sobbing openly. He'd lied. He'd dreamed since he'd met the woman that she would be his. She'd been kind to him but nothing more.

Albie was giggling now as his father's quick movements sent a whisper of air fluttering through his blonde hair. He laughed almost exactly like his mother.

Albie's laughter was now the reason Wesker was stood before the stasis pod that held Rebecca's slumbering form. "We miss you. I... miss you." He told her quietly. He had faith in his Rebecca, and yet the thought of her kissing someone else was still there in his mind. Nevermind that he had been sleeping with another woman while she was frozen this way.

"Momma." Albie's chubby fingers reached out for Rebecca, his laughter fading into a whine. His little chin was quivering and he was all but sobbing all over again.

"Be strong." Wesker told his son quietly. "She can hear you. You don't want to upset her, do you?"

"Mr. Wesker?" Annabelle was standing in the doorway, wearing little more than a see through night gown. She'd gotten over her fear of him, apparently. "It's bedtime for the baby, don't you think?" She purred.

"Yes, it is far past your bedtime, little girl." Wesker remarked, though he said little else as he turned to look at her. For a long moment he simply looked her over, quite easily able to see everything through her nightgown.

Annabelle gave him a wicked smile, gesturing him towards the door and away from the lifeless Rebecca. "Why don't you come tuck me in." She purred.

Wesker still had his son in his arms when he followed after Annabelle. She was a trier, he'd give her that much. "You're lucky one of my men hasn't seen you wearing... That." He commented coolly.

Anna said nothing to this. Who was to say the men hadn't seen her this way. "At least I like them alive." She purred, making reference to when Rebecca had been stuck in a mess hall full of undead men.
Albie snarled loudly.

"Yes, I imagine you do. You enjoy many of them, I believe." Wesker replied, a dark edge to his voice. "Just like the little harlot Rebecca always said you were."

"It's never bothered you." Anna said softly, twitching her hips seductively. "It didn't bother you with...her."
Albie's fat fingers were gripping his father's arm tightly, his snarl getting louder.

Wesker could feel his son's anger, and it made him proud to know that even at this young age Albie was protective of his mother. "Well, as they say... Any port in a storm." Wesker responded icily.

Annabelle nodded at this, opening the door to Albie's room. "Everything is set out for him. I've even called his usual nurse for the bed time routine." She said as if it were nothing but a dismissal.

Wesker found it extremely antagonising of this young woman to not only speak to him in this manner, but to take the liberties she did. "Albie needs is father." He told Annabelle sternly. "That does not change, simply because you have an itch to scratch."

"That boy should have been drowned at birth." Annabelle muttered, speaking before she'd thought better of it. "Useless one armed freak." She added, probably not helping matters.

Before any of them could even blink, Albie had been placed on his bed and Annabella had been roughly shoved against the wall, her airway cut off by Wesker's strong grasp. "I have a thought, just a silly little notion, really... How about I take your arm?" He asked, his voice eerily calm.

Annabelle's eyes were wide with panic. He was getting stronger. She didn't know how but he was. He was less human every day. "No." She squeaked. "No. I...sorry...just...talking..."

"In that case... Another thought occurs to me." Wesker continued, still choking Annabelle. "All that talking... Would be rather difficult, without a tongue. Wouldn't you agree?"

Anna nodded as best she could, clearly close to tears.
On the bed Albie had found his mother's diary and was happily playing with the pages, giggling as if nothing were happening.

"Good. Then we have an understanding. Now get out of my sight." Wesker hissed, all but tossing Annabelle out into the hallway.

"But..." Anna stumbled into the hallway, coughing. She certainly didn't think that this would have led to her getting sent away.
Albie lifted his head and poked his tongue out at her, something she swore she'd make him pay for whether he was an infant or not.

"Well... That was certainly unpleasant, wasn't it?" Wesker asked his son, sounding almost gentle as he crouched down to be at eye level with the boy. "That nasty woman thought she was better than your beautiful mother."

Albie's lower lip trembled and he began to wail all over again. It was the beginning of a very long night in which the entire facility would have trouble sleeping.
It wasn't until the next morning when the infant finally managed to fall into an exhausted slumber that a young researcher managed to tell Wesker through the door that Rebecca's containment tank had sprung a leak.

Wesker had been dozing in the chair beside Albie's bed when the researcher brought him the news. With a weary sigh he pushed himself to his feet and moved to the door. "Stay with my son... I shall take care of this."
