Precious memories

Wesker had gotten Rebecca back to the safety of the tiny facility where he had taken Claire and Leon's newborn children, it was also the place that Chris and Jill's dark haired daughter currently called home. However, for now wesker had left all three children in the care of someone else, his attention solely on easing Rebecca's pain and meding the wound he himself had given her.

Wesker smiled, always charmed by Rebecca's less than subtle attempt at being subtle. A rough finger traced her soft lips lightly, yellow eyes watching her face now that her own bright blue eyes were closed. He did genuinely love her, and it did pain him that she was always getting hurt because of this fact. Unable to resist any longer he dipped his head slightly, his lips claiming hers in a tender kiss.

"Are you going to let me look at you?" Rebecca asked after a long moment, glad that he hadn't moved away from her just yet.

"There's nothing to look at." Wesker told his young lover firmly. "You now I heal quickly."
Ruby stirred slightly, curling against Rebecca as she would have done her own mother.

Rebecca sighed, pulling Ruby even closer to her. "What do you plan to do to Dave?" She asked, trying her best to change the subject rather than continue to bug him about his own health.

"Flay him alive." Wesker replied without hesitation. "The little bastard deserves nothing less." He added, leaning over Ruby to look for any signs of t virus mutation.

"I love it when you talk like that." Rebecca purred, nibbling her lover's ear lobe as he leaned his head near hers. She couldn't help herself. It had been nearly three months since he'd even really touched her.

Wesker chuckled quietly, Ruby suddenly forgotten as he kissed Rebecca again. "I find it best... When we say nothing at all..." He purred in reply.

Rebecca ran her fingers through her lover's hair and then traced the lines of his face. She could tell that he was still in pain and he was doing his best to hide it from her. "Let me give you something..." She all but pleaded, pausing to kiss him again. "Let me help you to rest. Then we'll take care of everything else. Just...let me do something for you for a change."

Wesker smiled and pulled her fingers away from his face to kiss their tips lightly. "There isn't time for me." He replied sadly. "The Redfield girl will need constant supervision these first few hours after infection."

Rebecca sighed again. It was clear in her eyes that she was extremely worried about him. "I'll need to get back in that lab but I'm not sure I can do that with Dave there...whatever's been done to him...it makes him too strong for me."

"Then you stay here with the girl. I'll subdue Dave." Wesker replied confidently. "I can get you anything you need, didn't I always promise you at least that much?"

"If I remember right, you said you'd never make promises." Rebecca teased him, a grin curving her lips. "Billy Coen said the same thing. I think maybe...it's better that you don't."

"And he abandoned you when you needed a friend." Wesker commented. "So this time... I agree, this time, that you are right." He replied, with a grin of his own. "Very well, I will allow you to do your checking over, once I have put my dear son down."

Rebecca couldn't hide her wider grin. For Wesker to say that she was right was a new accomplishment. But for him to say that he would let her check him over...she'd practically won. "Will you be careful?" She asked, not sure he would make it through another fight with Dave.

"Careful doesn't get the job done." Wesker replied as he headed for the door. "Hasn't our bedroom activities proven that to you?" He added with a wide grin.

It had been a long time since Rebecca had blushed so deeply. Her face was very near purple as she ducked her head, staring hard at the sheets beneath her.

Wesker couldn't help but laugh as he watched his young lover blush. "And that's the reason I love you." He told her, leaving the room before Rebecca could question him in that little declaration. Dave needed to at for what he had done.

Dave was again seated in the rafters above the lab. He was dozing off, expecting to be alone as his father and the young woman consummated their reunion. He had no intention of fighting Wesker until much later.

As Dave's guard was down somewhat, wesker could hear his heart beating, along with his slow and steady breathing. It was a moment later when he was seated next to the younger man, debating whether to simply push his hand through his chest and crush his heart... Or to settle for something much slower.

Dave had finally drifted off and was snoring peacefully, his face pressed to the cool metal of the beam beside him. It had been a long time since he'd slept, nevermind slept well.

Wesker opted for the slow approach. He shoved Dave off the beam to the ground below, where he himself landed less than a moment later. He stomped on the younger mans face, ensuring he was again unconscious, as the fall had no doubt woken him up. By the time Dave next came around, he would be inside a containment tank just like the one he had imprisoned his father in. The difference was, this tank was filled with an acidic solution. It wasn't so strong as it would kill him in moments, Instead it was just strong enough that it would slowly eat away at his flesh.

Rebecca stood in front of the containment tank, looking up at Dave. The dark part of her was throughly enjoying the way the younger Wesker was struggling. He was tossing his head in agony, the acid keeping him from even being able to scream.
The other part of her was rebelling against this. Surely even she couldn't be so cruel. "Albert...are you really going to let him die?"

"Perhaps. I haven't decided yet." Wesker replied, no longer interested in what was happening to his son. Ruby was back in the lab and he was preoccupied with drawing a blood sample from her. "After what he did to you, and the Redfield girl, I should think you would approve of his suffering."

"I didn't say I don't." Rebecca corrected, shaking her head as she too turned back to Ruby. "I just don't think killing him will solve anything." She placed a cool rag over her forehead and sighed. "Is her fever going to subside? I always thought that was one of the stages of becoming undead?"

"It is." Wesker confirmed. "However, Jill's temperature always ran much warmer than the normal 98.6. It was as though her body was in the early stages of mutation, but never progressed any further. Until I test this blood, it is unclear whether her child inherited that immunity."

"Sherry's did that too but...at certain times of the month she did mutate. If that makes any sense." Rebecca said, chewing on her lip in thought. "May be since she's so young she'll be able to fight it better."

"That must have been some PMT that brat had." Wesker remarked, finally looking up when he had all the blood he needed form Ruby. "It may be that e virus will lay dormant in this one until she matures."

"Well that will be interesting." Rebecca said with a nod. "That actually sounds like something to look forward to. Now. You made me a promise. Remember?"

Wesker gave a dramatic sigh, then turned to fully face Rebecca. "Fine, woman, have your way with me." He told her with a smirk. Neither of them seemed to realise that Ruby already looked a few years older than the three she was supposed to be.

Rebecca took the sample from Wesker and laid it down on the table, her eyes never leaving him. "Take your shirt off." She purred, unable to help herself. She needed to make sure he was okay. She could still see the weariness he was trying to hide from her and she was afraid there was more to it.
