"I wanted you when you were still finding your feet in the world, is that not in itself enough?" Wesker replied, surprised to find he was gently stroking his fingers through Rebecca's hair.

Wesker cut away what was left of Rebecca's torn t shirt and first cleaned and dressed the deep wounds. Next came the antidote, but that was going to take time. Until it was ready, he had given her a rather strong painkiller.

"Still want...her..." Peter managed to say reaching for Rebecca's unmoving form. The tiny woman stirred for a moment, but only because Wesker's icy hands were touching skin that was already on fire.

Wesker caught Peter's wrist in a bruising grip and all but tossed him across the room. "Never touch her again, understand?" He snarled, then stroked Rebecca's cheek gently.

Peter seemed a bit surprised, almost as if his own serum was wearing off. The bone dog beneath the table shifted its own weight, whining in a voice that sounded more like escaping air.

Wesker glared at Peter when he hesitated to pick himself up. "The dosage isn't quite right..." He murmured, pulling out his PDA and tapping something into it.

All at once Peter began to scream and Rebecca's eyes flew open. It was clear however that she was far too medicated to even protest whatever was happening. As it was she simply smiled, her tiny fingers sliding around Wesker's wrist.

Wesker was distracted enough by Rebecca's touch that Peter's pain was cut short, for the moment. "I'm sorry, did the medication wear off?" He asked Rebecca, on his feet and already reaching for another shot of something, just in case.

"No...I was just wondering...Did Jill scream like that for you?" Rebecca asked, her voice still slurred.

"Frequently." Wesker replied, seeing no reason to lie. "She fought it every chance she got, which meant she was almost certainly in constant pain."

"Is that including the other things you did to her?" Rebecca asked, clearly coming back into her mind even though her own pain would soon follow. "Did she scream better than I did?" She added bitterly.

A snort of laughter escaped wesker. "That's what bothers you? I can hardly compare the two of you, given you wanted what was being done to you... Jill simply had to take it."

"What did you get out of that?" Rebecca asked, whimpering as she tried to sit up. "What did taking advantage of her in that way do for you? You already had Excella."

"I wanted to destroy something of Chris'." Wesker replied, once again being brutally honest. "At first she tried to be strong, as though she thought he was coming to rescue her. Then... She simply cried out his name, and that was when I knew she was well and truly broken."

Rebecca laid back again, the pain returning with a vengeance. "I didn't ask for help because...I want you to see that I'm strong too..." She admitted, trying her best to keep the pain inside herself. "I even screwed that up..."

"I know you are strong." Wesker assured Rebecca. "But you did a foolish thing, almost dying for the sake of your pride."

The bony dog under the table began to growl loudly, shifting what little weight it had as if it were preparing to pounce on something. Even Peter turned his head towards the window as if he sensed something there.
Rebecca said nothing more as she let the pain take her back into the darkness. She wouldn't wake again until Wesker had completed the serum.

Wesker had given Rebecca the serum without waking her. There was that dark part of him that was screaming inside his head to take advantage, to infect her with Uroboros simply to see just how strong her genetics truly were.

"I was going to do the same thing." Peter grunted, struggling to speak. "A weak thing like her...deserves what she gets." He was struggling to keep speaking, to keep his mind while he still had it.

"You never deserved even a moment of her time." Wesker replied icily. "She has a brilliant mind, and you stifled it!"

"She deserved what was done to her." Peter ground out. "I would do it again if I had the chance."

"And how does that follow?" Wesker asked, barely able to control his temper now. "Is someone bitter because she wouldn't get on her knees for him?"

Peter was able to form a tiny smile. "Oh she did. Whether she wanted to or not. She was...going to be my wife...after all."
The bony dog at Wesker's feet began to snarl, easily able to pick up on his master's mood.

"You really shouldn't have told me that." He purred, turning up the dosage on Peter's chest device. "I could have you performing the same service for a none too fresh corpse, if I chose it."

"Fuck you!" Peter managed before his words became nothing more than agonized howls.
After a few moments, Rebecca jerked awake and covered her ears. Her eyes shot from Peter to Wesker and back again. "What did he do?" She shouted.

"It is not what he I'd, but rather what he made you do." Wesker replied, as though Peter's howls of pain were nothing. "How do you feel? I have you the antidote, so it should be neutralising the venom by now."

"Much better." Rebecca admitted, frowning deeply. "He didn't make me do anything." She lied, not knowing that Peter had already admitted at least one dark secret to Wesker.

"Lie to as many people as you wish, Rebecca... But never lie to me." Wesker told her sternly. "I know what he made you do, and what bothers me... Is you never simply bit the bastards dick off."

Rebecca refused to look at Wesker as she tried to scoot off the table. There was so much that she couldn't tell him. All at once the bony dog leaped up and snapped at her calf. The teeth barely missed her as she all but jumped into Wesker's arms. "What the hell is that?" She squealed.

Wesker laughed slightly and set Rebecca back down on the table to lean down and pet the skeletal dog. "You never saw a dog before?" He teased.

The dog reacted by wiggling a tail that was nothing but bone. "Albert, that thing is..." Rebecca peered down at it though she didn't dare get too close this time. "Oh how terrible. It looks like it's suffering."
